In the heart of the charming, peaceful village of Padern, this Holiday cottage is a haven of serenity, ideal for families and friends, surrounded by wild nature, medieval heritage and the gentle pace of life.

This peaceful vacation rental offers a relaxing getaway for the whole family. It’s the perfect place to enjoy swimming in the Verdouble River and its waterfalls in the summer—a true little natural paradise just minutes away. Ideally located as a base for exploring the Cathar castles, it’s the perfect starting point for discovering the region’s rich history. This holiday cottage is also ideal for hikers, thanks to the many trails that wind through vineyards, scrubland, and spectacular hills. For example, you can walk to the famous Château de Quéribus, one of the jewels of Cathar Country.

The cottage offers a beautiful view of Mont Tauch, the iconic mountain range overlooking the surrounding landscape. A small patio of about 10 m², with no direct view but particularly pleasant, provides a space sheltered from the wind and heat at the back of the house—ideal for relaxing in complete tranquility. A large garage is available; however, the entrance is narrow and not suitable for large vehicles, though it’s perfect for motorcycles. Parking is also very easy in the village, and guests can charge an electric vehicle from the garage for a fee of 5 euros at the holiday cottage.

- Living room/kitchen: air conditioning, fireplace (wood not provided), 2-person sofa bed, bean-to-cup coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge-freezer, Bluetooth speaker.
- Bedroom 1: 140x190cm bed.
- Adjoining private bathroom (shower, toilet).
- Patio with garden furniture and a plancha grill.

2nd floor:
- Bedroom 2: 140x190cm bed.
- Bedroom 3: 90x190cm bunk beds.
- Separate toilet.
- Separate bathroom: shower, double sink.
- Bedroom 4: 140x190cm bed.

Fiber-optic internet connection. Pets are allowed only upon request to the owner.
