In the heart of the Mountain Noire, come and recharge your batteries in our Holiday cottage in Castans, a haven of peace surrounded by nature! Castans, a small village nestled in the Mountain Noire in the Occitanie region of France, captivates visitors with its unspoilt natural setting and peaceful atmosphere.

Surrounded by green forests and crossed by rivers, it's an ideal place for nature lovers and Hiking enthusiasts. The Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc offers numerous trails, some of which lead to the Pic de Nore. The surrounding waterfalls and craggy landscapes invite you to explore.

The village also boasts a rich historical heritage, with its rural churches and mills. Nearby, the famous Cité de Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers an insight into medieval history. The region is also rich in local produce: cheeses, honey and Minervois wines will delight gourmets.

Castans is an authentic place with a friendly atmosphere, enhanced by local festivals and craft markets. In addition to outdoor activities, visitors can explore the picturesque surrounding villages and enjoy the cultural festivities that punctuate life in this beautiful region.

At the owners' estate, you'll enjoy direct access to nature and the many Hiking trails. After your excursions, you can relax in the estate's Piscine, open and heated from early April to late October (4 x 12, depth 1.30 to 1.50 m), or in the Jacuzzi, sauna or Hammam.

The Holiday cottage is just a few steps from the Domaine.
