Domaine des Massols le Gîte

The Massols estate is nestled at an altitude of 700 m in a Natura 2000 zone, 4 km from the Cathar Trail, with the Rébenty river at its foot, a popular spot for swimming and trout fishing.

This former sheepfold has been converted into a self-catering cottage, using local wood and stone. Access to the estate is narrow and winding for 2 km, but on arrival, you'll enjoy absolute peace and quiet, surrounded by the Forest and totally away from the hustle and bustle, where you can listen to the stag bellow in autumn, and stargaze on this site with no visual or light pollution. Ideal for recharging your batteries and Hiking in the mountains, you can also enjoy the company of farm animals (donkeys, chickens, dogs and cats).

The Holiday cottage offers:
In one wing of the building: 2 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 bedrooms with mezzanine on the first floor, all with en-suite facilities, shower rooms and flexible sleeping arrangements for single or double beds.
In the second wing (access from outside): living area with fitted kitchen and utility room. Air-conditioning.
Terrace with views of the Pyrenees.
Private heated Piscine from June to September.

Optional laundry service (€5/machine).
Daily organic bread, yoghurt, eggs and catering service available on request.
