Domaine de l'Ange au Violon - Gîte XXL

A magical place in the Aude! L'Ange au Violon is a little paradise set on the banks of a river, with a large outdoor area of several hectares where nature is omnipresent. This verdant setting also boasts a pond and a historic chapel bearing witness to a glorious past. The architecture of the Holiday cottage is atypical, this Tuscan castle dating back to the 19th century offers a unique place for a vacation. Its location is ideal, at the foot of the Mountain Noire and 15 minutes from the Cité de Carcassonne. Other regional gems are just 15 minutes from the Holiday cottage: the Cathar castles of Lastours, the Limousis cave, the village of Caunes-Minervois and its abbey.

On site, the 10-hectare park is ideal for a stroll, or just to relax in the shade of a two- and three-hundred-year-old tree and enjoy the birdsong. The estate's chapel is not open to visitors, but its 15th-century Gothic style is sure to please. The river that runs alongside the estate and the pond are true havens of peace. The private Piscine (14x7m) is the perfect place to cool off or relax.


Less than 10 minutes by car: bakery, grocery store, supermarkets, restaurants. The location is ideal for weddings, seminars, birthday parties, family celebrations, exhibitions or other events. The private parking lot is large enough to accommodate up to 28 people. Wellbeing area available as an optional extra: sauna, spa, Hammam and gym. A large préau (former wine storehouse) features 2 ping-pong tables and table soccer.


Domaine de l'Ange au Violon consists of two independent but adjoining Holiday cottages. You'll be the only tenant, and you'll have full use of all the outdoor spaces.
