In the heart of a quiet, lively village, with all shops and restaurants nearby. Just 20 minutes away, discover the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, Cathar castles and typical villages. Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts can enjoy walks in the Malepère forests, or on Lake Cavayère.

Domaine de la Rousselle is a 430 m² manor house. Ideal for stays with family, friends or events. It offers :

_An entrance hall,
A living room with TV and DVD player,
A games room with library and pool table,
A gallery of antique board games (checkers, chess, Kids' games),
A dining room,
A fully-equipped kitchen (induction hob, dishwasher, wine cellar, classic coffee maker + Senseo), storeroom, laundry room with washing machine,
Separate toilet,
One bedroom with 160cm bed and bathroom (bath, shower, W.C.),

First floor:
_ 3 bedrooms, each with two convertible 90cm beds and a bathroom or shower room with toilet, one of which has a balcony,
_ One bedroom with a 140cm bed and en-suite shower room with toilet.
A dormitory with 4 90cm beds, and a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.

On the top floor, a Sports hall with rowing machine and weight bench.

Outside, behind the house, a large park with an unheated, gated swimming pool (11x4m), a shaded terrace with barbecue and plancha gas, and a pétanque court. And further afield: zip-wire, fitness trail, zip-wire, mini-golf, etc.
A shed next door offers table tennis and table soccer.

Reserved parking in front of the Holiday cottage (5 spaces) and adjacent parking lot.
Shops and restaurants nearby.

For epicureans, a wine tour at Château de Couffoulens with tasting and discovery of local wines. The Holiday cottage also offers a selection of the estate's vintages for sale.

    Amazing holiday in a wonderful gite

    We had a wonderful two week stay at the Domaine de la Rousselle. Two families consisting of four adults and five children had plenty of space as well as wonderful communal spaces to be together. Marie Christine greeted us very warmly, even providing the children with water pistols to play with in the pool. The house and garden have everything you could need and the downstairs stayed cool even in 40 degree heat. The pool, pool table and games room were enjoyed by everyone, especially the pool which was shaded from mid afternoon and provided welcome relief from the heat. The only thing to be aware of is that the Internet is very weak also the dishwasher does not work very well. We were very sad to leave and would love to return.

    Week-end en famille

    Le Domaine de la Rousselle a été dans mon cas l'endroit idéal pour fêter un anniversaire en famille. Spacieux, très bien agencé, et tout équipé, toutes les chambres équipées de sanitaires avec toilette. A l'intérieur, à disposition, de nombreuses activités possibles : billard, table de ping pond, jeux de société.
    A l'extérieur un parc arboré, avec mini-golf, tyrolienne, terrain de boules etc..
    Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, malgré la pluie passagère les occupations n'ont pas manquées. Le village calme est très agréable également. Notre hôte a été très accueillante et à notre écoute. Je recommande et envisage d'y retourner pour une autre occasion si elle se présente !

    Super séjour

    Découvrons une magnifique maison confortable.
    L'accueil de Mme Guilhem fut charmant et chaleureux, très disponible et à l'écoute.
    Les différentes salles de jeux et de sport ont permis de passer les jours de pluie sans ennui.Un seul regret: le mauvais temps ne nous a pas permis de profiter du magnifique parc et de la piscine.
    Par contre nous avons pu déguster l'excellent vin de notre hôtesse.
    Un seul souhait:prévoir un autre séjour pendant l'été.

    Réservation très simple.
    Accueil très chaleureux de la propriétaire qui multiplie les petites attentions et qui vous reçoit comme des amis. Hébergement immense et très confortable possédant un immense jardin calme avec piscine, parcours de santé et où vous pourrez jouer au mini-golf ou encore profiter de la cabane dans les arbres et de sa tyrolienne. Il y en a autant pour les petits que pour les grands ! Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.
