Located in Sainte-Eulalie, in the heart of the Countryside, the Domaine de Dougados welcomes you to a peaceful setting just a few minutes from Carcassonne, on the banks of the famous Canal du Midi and one of its locks, where you can enjoy an authentic setting combining the mild Mediterranean climate, unspoilt nature and a remarkable heritage. In an area rich in discoveries, you can alternate cultural visits, gentle strolls and sporting activities. The medieval city of Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a must-see, as are the castles of the Cathar region and the shady banks of the Canal du Midi. Further north, the Mountain Noire offers a cooler atmosphere with its forests and hilltop villages, while to the south, the Pyrenean foothills reveal a more open panorama of the relief. Bram, 6 km away, offers a Padel court and a Lake with water-ski lift, as well as a vast 5-hectare natural estate where the local wildlife finds refuge. Deer, squirrels and hares sometimes cross the wooded areas, making the atmosphere all the more exotic. The Holiday cottage also boasts several outdoor areas designed to ensure that everyone enjoys their vacation to the full: a large shaded terrace for summer meals, a private garden, as well as access to the owner's swimming pool overlooking the estate's five wooded hectares, offering an exceptional unobstructed view of the Malepère plateau and the Pyrenean foothills.

The 18th-century farmhouse includes an old stone barn converted into a Holiday cottage, quite independent of the main building where the owner lives, it offers: _A living room opening onto the terrace, lounge area with fireplace-insert, dining area, and open kitchen (vitro hob, dishwasher, washing machine, classic coffee maker + Senséo), _A bathroom with bathtub, _Two bedrooms each with a 160cm bed, _A W.Upstairs: _Mezzanine area with desk, library and Kids' games, _One bedroom with 2 single beds, _One bedroom with 3 single beds, _One shower room with shower and WC. Outside, a terrace, and all around a large wooded area with barbecue and garden furniture.
Leisure facilities include a swimming pool (open from April, 12x6 Prof. 1.10 to 1.60, alarm-protected) to be shared with the owners, a pool house with table tennis and table soccer, and on-site parking. The Holiday cottage is not air-conditioned, but fans are available.
