La maison du cordonnier is located in a family hamlet where there is also a studio for two holidaymakers and three houses. Christianne and André's, Marie and Raffaelle's and Nadine and Nicolas'. Each of these homes sometimes welcomes visiting family and friends. So, while winter days are fairly quiet, some summer days can be crowded in Barsa!
The layout of the hamlet means that everyone can enjoy their own home without disturbing the others. Summer is lived to the rhythm of everyone's naps, games and meals. When it's time to relax, everyone enjoys it: cool indoors, under the big oak tree or by the pool, on the terrace or in the hammocks. We hope you'll take advantage of this opportunity too. To take full advantage of each of the hamlet's many attractions, we invite you to take a stroll around the grounds.
The Piscine is open to all residents of the hamlet from 10am to 7pm. The Piscine is an old man who needs a bit of attention. Here are a few tips to keep in mind. First of all, to avoid getting sun cream on the walls and to limit the use of cleaning products, we ask you to use the shower before getting into the water. For the same reason, it's not possible to use floatation devices. Every hummingbird does its bit... we do our best to help preserve Mother Nature. We limit water consumption and recover as much as possible. This means watering the plants with the water from washing the salad, turning off the tap as soon as possible and ... avoiding water-bombing contests in the Piscine! And in the hamlet, we don't use air-conditioning, we use draughts and greenery. We try to cultivate islands of vegetation to better withstand the summer heat: planting trees, installing plants to soften the sun on the facades.
