While it lacks outdoor space, it more than makes up for it with its ideal location, perfect for exploring the region’s treasures. From the second-floor bedroom, enjoy a breathtaking view of the famous “Dinosaur Hill,” a fascinating paleontological site where traces of these extinct giants have been discovered. Right next door, the village church adds a touch of heritage while ensuring a peaceful environment free from any disturbances.


The banks of the Aude River, just a stone’s throw away, offer charming picnic spots where you can relax. You’ll be staying in the heart of the Upper Aude Valley, surrounded by nature—the perfect setting for a vacation focused on exploring the local environment, gastronomy, and the rich heritage of Cathar Country. From the village’s higher elevations, majestic panoramic views of mountains stretching as far as the eye can see unfold before you.


There is a grocery store and bar on-site; other shops are in Quillan, just 5 minutes away. You can enjoy a variety of whitewater activities and Fishing, and there’s a recreational center 5 km away with supervised Swimming. It’s also a starting point for Hiking and mountain biking trails. Just a few kilometers away are numerous cultural sites, including the Cathar castles of Puivert, Lapradelle, and Puylaurens, and the Cité de Carcassonne, which is 1 hour away. The Espéraza Dinosaur Museum and the Thermal baths at Rennes-les-Bains are also must-sees.
