You're in the Pays Cathare, an area rich in heritage and unspoilt landscapes. The Benedictine abbey of Lagrasse, founded around the year 800, the cobbled streets, the local craftsmen and the banks of the Orbieu offer an authentic immersion. The medieval city of Carcassonne is less than 30 minutes away, and the Mediterranean beaches are less than an hour away. Lagrasse offers a full range of shops, including restaurants, a bakery, a grocery store, a newspaper shop and a tourist office.
