Classified as a protected area, this unique territory combines garrigue, pine forests, cliffs and Mediterranean panoramas, with numerous hiking trails and sporting itineraries directly accessible from the estate (walking, trail, Bike / Mountain bike). Just a few minutes away, Narbonne-Beach boasts wide, unspoilt beaches, perfect for recharging your batteries, running along the water's edge or simply relaxing by the Sea. Between walks in the mountains, outdoor sports activities and contemplative breaks on the coast, the region is an ideal destination for recharging your batteries, whether you're travelling solo, as a couple or as a family.
We offer 8 different types of accommodation (bed and breakfast and Holiday cottage), from 2 to 4 people depending on configuration. Baby beds are available on request. Breakfast is included for bed and breakfast stays, and we offer our residents a tour of the estate with wine tasting, to discover our organic AOP La Clape - Cru du Languedoc wines. You can enjoy a private heated Piscine from April to September, relax in the fresh air and stroll through the estate grounds. Some rooms also boast a terrace overlooking the garden and swimming pool, ideal for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Château Catherine de Montgolfier is also unique in that it houses Europe's first winery equipped with 21 Œufs de Beaune, the estate's signature wine. Finally, our residents benefit from special discounts on our wines and events, which can be discovered directly at the cellar.

L'Escapade, with its springtime tone, is located in the guest house logis. It is equipped with an en-suite shower room (shower, washbasin and WC). It has a 160cm bed and TV. It has a private terrace with a view and direct access to the Piscine, ideal for cooling off and soaking up the sun.

Le Château Catherine de Montgolfier est un domaine familial situé au cœur du Massif de La Clape, dans un environnement naturel préservé, à moins de 15 minutes des stations balnéaires de Gruissan, de Narbonne-Plage et Saint-Pierre-la-Mer. Le centre historique de Narbonne est accessible en seulement 9 km.
Bien plus qu'un hébergement, le Château Catherine de Montgolfier est une destination où l'on partage la passion du Beau et du Bon, dans un esprit d'accueil chaleureux et authentique. Ici, tout est pensé pour se ressourcer : nature, calme, piscine, atmosphère méditerranéenne, et moments de convivialité autour du vin.
Vous serez accueillis comme à la maison, que vous veniez pour profiter de nos chambres d'hôtes et gîtes, vous détendre au bord de la piscine, ou découvrir l'univers du domaine à travers une dégustation de nos vins premium bio AOP La Clape – Cru du Languedoc.
Le domaine se distingue également par une approche unique de l'élevage : nous avons créé en 2023 le premier chai d'élevage d'Europe avec 21 Œufs de Beaune, associés à des demi-muids à cintrage vapeur, offrant à nos vins précision, élégance et pureté. En 2025, nos vins ont obtenus 16 distinctions dans les plus grands concours internationaux (IWC, Decanter, Concours de Bruxelles et OIV) du monde, dont trois médailles d'Or à l'Organisation Internationale du Vin (OIV) sur nos trois vins rouges. En 2024, notre grand vin bio Empreinte des Sens Blanc 2022 a été le premier Vin Blanc en AOP LA Clape à l'IWC avec une médaille d'Argent.
En saison estivale, le Château accueille aussi des événements (soirées musicales, spectacles), pour partager la passion du Beau et du Bon.
