Château Béthanie

Close to the Cassoulet capital and 30 minutes from Carcassonne and Toulouse, Château Béthanie stands proudly at the entrance to the village, amidst the sunny plains of the Lauragais region. Superb views from the panoramic terrace.

The 1850s Baroque period house features a majestic staircase with skylight, a living room with imposing fireplace and a library with books on the sites of the Cathar region. A house dedicated to perfumes, with 5 rooms decorated in the atmosphere of the most famous perfumes.

Relax by the heated Piscine (late May to September, weather permitting), lined with flower boxes and comfortable sunbeds. The north-facing terrace overlooks vast plains of sunflowers, wheat and rapeseed. It's a feast for the eyes to see these colorful expanses stretch all the way to the foot of the Black Mountain, where you can watch a fabulous sunset.

On the south side, the Piscine with its large solarium and lovely shaded area. Terrace and shady garden nearby. Petanque court, ping-pong table, outdoor games.
Ground floor: 2 dining rooms, living room, fully-equipped professional kitchen: walk-in cooler, freezer, dishwasher, 2 coffee machines (Tassimo and 15-cup), mixer/blender, 7-burner gas hob and 4 electric ovens, separate toilet. On the 1st floor, a large 2-bedroom suite with 1 bed 180, 3 beds 90 and a private shower room (Italian shower, WC), a 2nd suite: a bedroom with 1 bed 160 and an alcove with 1 bed 90, en-suite bathroom with bath, Italian shower, WC, pretty glass roof terrace.
On the 2nd floor, a family suite for 4 with 2 communicating bedrooms (1 bed 180 and 2 beds 90x200), with en-suite shower room (hydro-massage shower, wc). 1 bedroom with 1 bed 180 x 200 and 1 bed 90x200 and its bathroom with whirlpool bath, wc. A final bedroom with 1 bed 180 and 1 bed 90 and its bathroom with hydro-massage shower cubicle, wc.

Private parking on the property. Extra cleaning required, to be paid on site (200€ for short stays, 300€ for stays of more than 2 nights).
