Chai du Canal

Situated in Sallèles d'Aude, a circular village nestled in the heart of the Languedoc vineyards, close to the Mediterranean coast and crossed by the Canal de Jonction which carries the boats of the Canal de Midi to Narbonne, with its tree-lined lanes ideal for walks and its waterways for fishing enthusiasts, this gîte offers a peaceful and pleasant setting.

The Holiday cottage, located on the edge of the road to Mirepeisset and the canal, is accessed by an outside staircase. The first small terrace, from which you can watch the boats pass by, leads to the living room of the Holiday cottage, with a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto a south-facing terrace with a sheltered dining area and electric barbecue. Two sun loungers are available to enjoy the peace and quiet. A master bedroom with a 160cm double bed and a second bedroom with two 80cm single beds. A bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Electric heating is available on request.
Parking is available at the foot of the Holiday cottage, and there is a spacious garage for your vehicle. Two bicycles are available.
In the village: the Amphoralis site, a Gallo-Roman pottery village. Local restaurants and shops.
