Montgaillard is a charming village in the Aude department, which will win you over with its authenticity and natural setting. Nestled in the heart of Cathar country, it offers exceptional panoramic views of the Corbières. Nearby, discover Cathar castles such as Peyrepertuse and Quéribus, perched on the ridges. Hiking enthusiasts will love the marked trails through garrigue, vineyards and Forest.
The wine region offers tastings of Corbières and Minervois, powerful, sunny wines. Montgaillard is also a Mecca for Occitan gastronomy: cassoulet, artisanal charcuterie and goat's cheese. The local Markets are bursting with local produce.
A few kilometers away, Limoux invites you to savour its famous Blanquette. The nearby Gorges de Galamus offer an impressive natural spectacle, with their sheer cliffs and hermitage nestling in the rock.

Nous avons passé une semaine en pleine nature, dans un hébergement très confortable d'un village très calme. La maison est très bien équipée, avec notamment une cheminée très agréable après nos excursions dans la région.

Très beau gîte aménagé avec goût et très bien équipé et confortable. Le village de Montgaillard est un joli petit village entouré de belles randonnées et proche des châteaux à visiter. Félicitations à la commune qui a vraiment réalisé de beaux gîtes dans ce village.

Le gîte Cécile est un endroit idéal pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis, dans cette très belle région des châteaux cathares. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le confort, la propreté et le top niveau d'équipement de ce gîte, ainsi que l'accueil très chaleureux, disponible et flexible qui nous a été réservé. Pierre Gîte agréable et spacieux pour un groupe de 8 ami(e)s
Bien équipé, literie confortable et terrasse accueillante.
L'accueil d'Isabelle est très chaleureux. Disponible pour montrer les différentes fonctionnalités du gîte, elle explique également volontiers les différents aspects du travail de viticulteur(trice).
