Located in the heart of the Aude countryside, near Castelnaudary and the Ariège, this holiday cottage welcomes you to a peaceful, natural setting—ideal for vacations with family or friends—nestled on an estate with panoramic views of the Pyrenees.

On the ground floor, the holiday cottage features a spacious, bright living room with a fully equipped open kitchen, including a dishwasher, gas stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator-freezer, and a coffee maker for both filter and pod coffee. The living area offers a cozy atmosphere with a TV and a wood-burning stove (wood provided). A separate bathroom with a shower, washing machine, and toilet completes this level. Bedroom 1 is furnished with two 80x200 cm beds that can be pushed together to form a comfortable double bed.

Upstairs, you’ll find a separate bathroom with a bathtub and toilet, as well as three spacious bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has three 80x200 cm beds. Bedroom 3 also features three adjustable 80x200 cm beds that can be arranged in various configurations to suit your needs. Bedroom 4 includes a single bed (80x190 cm) and a double bed (140x200 cm).

Outside, you’ll enjoy a beautiful shaded terrace with garden furniture and a veranda offering exceptional views of the surrounding Countryside and the Pyrenees mountain range. Private parking is available on-site. The swimming pool, shared with the owners and two other residents of the estate, is chlorinated and measures 8 x 4 m, with a depth ranging from 1 m to 1.80 m—ideal for cooling off on sunny days. It’s just a short walk from the holiday cottage, and you’ll have plenty of privacy.

The estate also features a lake open to guests for relaxing moments surrounded by nature. You can go fishing there, enjoy the stand-up paddleboards provided, or use a rowboat at your own risk to explore the site’s peaceful setting. You can also stroll along the paths around the lake to take a leisurely walk and complete a loop.

From the holiday cottage, you can explore the many treasures of the Aude and Occitanie regions. History buffs will appreciate the proximity to Castelnaudary, the “capital of cassoulet,” as well as the picturesque villages of the Lauragais and the famous medieval cities of Carcassonne and Mirepoix. Nature lovers will enjoy hiking, biking, and water sports around the Canal du Midi and the surrounding lakes. The region also offers magnificent local markets, renowned wineries, and numerous outdoor activities for all ages, set against a backdrop of mountains, Countryside, and historic sites.
