From the property, you can take one of the many family or sports Hiking trails... including the famous Cathar trail.
A few kilometers away, enjoy the white-water sports and activities of the Haute-Vallée de l'Aude, such as canoeing, rafting, hydrospeed, via ferata and rock-climbing at Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet... Shops are in the village of Puilaurens, 5 km away.
This Holiday cottage with independent entrance comprises on the ground floor: living room with fully-equipped kitchen and fireplace, a shower room and WC.
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (2 x 90cm beds) and 1 bedroom (1 x 140cm bed), shower room and separate WC.
The owners (farmer-breeders) live on site and can advise you on the best excursions in the area. Access to the site is via a 3 km carriage road.

    Gîte confortable, au calme et entouré de forêt

    Le gîte se trouve au sein d'un petit hameau agricole à quelques km du village, au calme et entouré de forêts avec des sentiers de balades. La maison est confortable et bien équipée, on y tient à 6 sans se marcher dessus ! Avec un bon feu de cheminée, on déconnecte complètement !
    La communication avec Brigitte, que nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer avec son mari Lionel, été excellente. Leur fils, qui habite sur place, a été de bon conseil pour les randonnées.
    Nous ne sommes restés qu'un WE, pas assez pour beaucoup explorer la région, qui semble magnifique. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.
