Caunes-Minervois, a charming village in the Aude department, is renowned for its 8th-century Benedictine abbey, a jewel of Romanesque art. Its pink marble, used in the Château de Versailles, brands the local identity. Nearby, explore the wild landscapes of the Minervois, between garrigues and renowned Vineyards producing exceptional wines. Don't miss the medieval town of Minerve, listed as one of France's most beautiful villages, and the impressive Cesse gorges. Hiking enthusiasts will love the causse trail, while the Limousis cave and the Cabrespine chasm will amaze young and old alike.
Festivals, markets and tastings punctuate local life, offering an authentic immersion in Occitan land. Around the village, you can explore the surrounding garrigues on foot or by mountain bike.

The Holiday cottage comprises on the ground floor:
-a garage for a small car, or an open carport for larger vehicles, with tumble dryer.
A bedroom with 2 x 80cm beds, which can be twinned to 160cm on request, with en-suite bathroom and WC.
-Laundry room with washing machine and second refrigerator.
1st floor:
a fully-equipped, air-conditioned living room/kitchen opening onto a fully enclosed, unoverlooked terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.

2nd floor:
an air-conditioned bedroom with 1 x 160 cm bed.
