On the route des Châteaux cathares, in the picturesque village of Padern, 8 km from Tuchan, this large character house welcomes you for a peaceful stay in the heart of nature, at the crossroads of history, wild landscapes and local produce.

Nestled between the ruins of the Château de Padern and the foothills of Mont Tauch, this family home offers an exceptional setting for discovering the soul of the Corbières. You'll be in the heart of an unspoilt region, surrounded by renowned vineyards, hiking trails and exceptional historic sites. Not far away, the castles of Quéribus and Peyrepertuse stand on their rocky spurs, striking witnesses to the Cathar past. The Mediterranean Sea, with its beaches and ponds, is just an hour's drive away, as are the seaside resorts of the Aude region.

The spacious, light-filled house has two levels:
First floor:
_ Two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140cm), the other with a double bed (120cm) and a convertible bed (140cm),
A shower room with toilet,
Down a few steps, a large suite with a 180cm bed, a 90cm bed on the mezzanine above, and an adjoining bathroom with bath and toilet,
Upstairs: a bright living room with open kitchen and sitting area with TV,
Finally, the panoramic terrace, with unobstructed views of the village, surrounding hills, château and typical garrigue landscapes. Sun loungers, garden furniture, parasol and electric barbecue are available to make the most of sunny days and starry evenings.

Communal parking lot 50m away. Bicycles can be sheltered on request.
