This restored, detached house, built in 1890, was once home to the gatekeeper who manually operated the railroad gates. Today, around ten trains run here every day. The brightly-colored interior has been tastefully renovated. The wooded, enclosed grounds offer a secure haven. A major tourist destination, Haute-Ariège boasts a rich historical and natural heritage that you'll be delighted to discover along the many hiking trails. Ideal for cross-country skiers, the gite is just 20 km from the PLATEAU DE BEILLE. The small rooms, especially the living room (8 m²), make this gite a cosy nest for a couple.
