Coquettish mountain chalet

In Couserans country, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Ariégeoises, set in a traffic-free clearing, the chalet has nothing to do with the bungalows often used for vacation rentals. It's a house in its own right. Christian and Marie meticulously supervised every stage of its construction by our local craftsmen, as well as the fittings and final decoration. They wanted it to be rustic, in harmony with our mountains, without sacrificing any of its comforts. The furnishings are simple and sober, in harmony with the omnipresent wood. The atmosphere is one of balance and serenity. It's nestled on the edge of a forest, surrounded by pastures where traditional pastoral life continues unchanged.

The ground floor comprises a living room with fitted kitchen and sitting area, a bedroom with a double bed (140cm) and a shower room with separate toilet. On the mezzanine floor, accessible via a ladder, you'll find 1 x 90cm bed, 1 x 140cm bed and a storage area. Perfectly insulated, it's just as cozy in winter as it is in summer. It opens onto a large south-facing terrace. Wooden table with built-in benches. Barbecue. Shared 4000 m² grounds. Shared private parking. Cleaning service on request.
