Escarchein: a little corner of the world, a place and an atmosphere from bygone days that's a must-see. You'll be welcomed into the old schoolhouse, where you'll enjoy the peace and quiet and a superb view of the verdant surroundings. The livestock in the olden days bring a touch of fantasy and a feeling of well-being as they invade the surrounding pastures. From every room, you can dominate the valley that leads to the village of Galey. We appreciate the peacefulness of the beautiful day room, which allows everyone to enjoy a moment of relaxation after the daily tourist expeditions.

Upstairs apartment in a detached house comprising 2 gîtes. Living room with kitchenette, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed. After a few steps down: shower room, wc, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. Electric heating. Grocery, tobacconist, restaurant, café, playground in village. Communal parking lot in front of the house.

    Accueil de Mme la mairesse propriétaire, très froid, pas accueillante, contrairement à d'autres gîtes que j'ai pu louer, ce gîte est vétuste, vaisselle laissant à désirer, si j'avais été toute seule je ne pouvais pas ouvrir la porte d'entrée.
    Je suis très déçue et j'ai un très mauvais souvenir de cet endroit que je ne recommanderai à personne.

    Excellent séjour

    Gîte très confortable, literie impeccable, vue superbe, belles randonnées autour avec une ferme (légumes et bon fromage) à proximité.
