Le Gîte de Saint-Maixent Le Petit

Between fields, wooded hillsides and a small river, our Holiday cottage nestles in this natural setting. Entirely restored with respect for the site, this former priory is a privileged vacation spot. A large grassy courtyard at the front of the house, a swimming pool at the back and a large garden with swings and a boulodrome provide Kids with all the space they need to play.
On the first floor, the house comprises a large, convivial kitchen with access to the living room via an open bay window, and separate toilet. 1st floor: A spacious landing leads to two bedrooms. One with a 160cm bed and its own shower room and wc, the other with a 160cm bed and a 90cm bed, its own bathroom with shower + bath and wc.
On the second floor: another large landing leads to two very cosy attic bedrooms with exposed beams. The first bedroom has a 160cm bed, while the second, which we call the little dormitory, has three 90cm beds. A room where Kids love to meet up and tell stories! A shared shower room and separate toilet on this floor. A nearby 30 m² studio with PMR certification can be rented to increase the capacity to 12 people (in this case, book the "Tout à la Fois" product).
Depending on the season, you'll be surrounded by cereal crops (wheat, sunflower or rapeseed) and you can admire herds of Limousin cows in the pastures. Please note that, depending on the wind, there may be occasional noise pollution from the cutting of stones in the Haims quarry. Heating is provided by a central pellet-fired boiler. A wood-burning stove is also available for winter evenings in the living room. Piscine heated in spring and autumn when outside temperatures permit.
