Being all on one level, it’s convenient and practical for hosting a family or spa guests.
It consists of:
- a living area with a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator-freezer, induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher), living room, and sitting area
- 1 bedroom with 1 140-size bed
- 1 bedroom with 2 90-size beds
- a bathroom
- a separate toilet
The washing machine is located in the entryway to the apartment.
All inclusive here to make your stay as easy as possible:
- the beds are made upon your arrival
- bathroom linen is provided
- heating is included
- end-of-stay housekeeping is included

Outside, a south-facing terrace with a garden table and barbecue offers a beautiful view of the village and the hills.
Located just a few minutes from downtown Espelette, the ZAPATENDEIA holiday cottage is the perfect starting point for exploring the historic villages of the Basque Country, hiking on mountain trails, or enjoying the beaches of the Basque Coast (Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz), just 30 minutes away.
The owners are Espelette pepper growers. You can see the fields all around the holiday cottage. You’ll enjoy exclusive access to their expertise. They’ll be delighted to explain the secrets of growing, harvesting, and drying the “red gold” of the Basque Country.
