Ideal for birdwatchers, potholers or mountain hikers: Pic d'Orhy, Holtzarte footbridge, Iraty and Arbailles forests, Verna cave.
First floor: fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, induction hob, oven, dishwasher).
Living room and terrace with Mountain views, lounge (fireplace, TV, internet box), storeroom (washing machine, WC).
First floor: Landing with sitting area.
1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90), private shower room and WC. 1 other bedroom 1 bed (140) with private bath, washbasin and WC. Bedroom with direct access to upstairs terrace.
Parking at rear of Holiday cottage. Unenclosed courtyard and grounds. Wooden terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
Beds made on arrival, WIFI connection and housekeeping included. Bathroom linen available for hire.
For colder periods, a contribution to heating costs will be required, to be paid on site (see heating rates).

augustin Séjoir inoubliable
Accueil chaleureux, Jeannette et Philippe nous ont expliqué comment bien utiliser l'insert. Nous avons passé une semaine pluvieuse et pourtant très agréable, grâce à leurs nombreux conseils pour se repérer dans la haute Soule.
Une décoration pleine de goût et d'inventivité, une vue imprenable sur les pyrénées basques, le village de larrau est à 15 mn à pied et on peut partir en randonnée sans même avoir besoin de prendre la voiture puisqu'on est en plein sur un sentier de randonnée.
Bref,la semaine est passée trop vite, même avec une météo maussade. A refaire sans hésiter !

Ce gîte mérite amplement l'ensemble des avis très positifs :
Localisation: vue magnifique, très nombreuses randonnées (Iraty à 20 minutes, Holzarté, pic d'Orhy....prévoir le dénivelé mais c'est la montagne)
Le gîte : très bien agencé, décoré et chaleureux, tous les équipements sont de qualité et beaux
Les propriétaires : Jeannette et Philippe sont accueillants, disponibles et discrets
Les courses : avoir un peu d'organisation car rien à moins de 30-45 minutes mais c'est la montagne
La météo : c'est le pays basque et la montagne, la météo peut être capricieuse mais même si c'est le cas on passe de très bons moments au coin du feu dans cet espace très cocoon
C'était notre 3° séjour l'hiver et nous reviendrons- Cleanliness
