Former attic converted into a comfortable Holiday cottage behind the owner's house, on a working farm (sheep, cows and plants).
For farm vacations in the heart of nature, between Mount Baigura (paragliding) and Mount Ursuia (Hiking). Beautiful views over the hills of the Basque foothills. Numerous signposted Hiking trails from the Holiday cottage.
Apartment adjoining another Holiday cottage (G142151) with ground-level access, 2 km from town.
First floor: fitted kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms (1 bed 140, 2 beds 90), shower room, wc.
First floor: 1 mezzanine with relaxation area (sofa bed). Additional bed available on request.
Electric heating extra.
Bed linen provided. Linen and towels available for hire. Housekeeping package available.
Shared parking, terrace, courtyard and garden.
Tours of the farm, botanical walks and plant workshops (wild plant picking and processing) available by appointment and at extra cost. Sale of carnivorous, aromatic and condiment plants produced on the farm and local products: cheese, apple juice, honey, chestnuts...
Cambo-Les-Bains Thermal baths 10 minutes away, St Jacques pilgrimage route 500 m away, 2 restaurants in the village.
Hiking, Fishing and the Baïgura Base de loisirs nearby.

Mathieu L Très bon gîte
Très bon gîte avec tout confort tout en étant à la ferme. Spacieux et bien agencé. pas de climatisation mais les chambres au nord tiennent bien la fraicheur (dans la limite d'une canicule qui dure plusieurs jours bien sûr). Daniel et sa femme sont très avenants et accueillants. Bref nos avons passé un très bon séjour.

Le gite est tout à fait ce que nous recherchions, à la ferme, au calme et dans un superbe environnement.
Les propriétaires sont accueillants et très sympathiques.
Nous avons été retardés pour notre arrivée, qui fut bien tardive, mais le propriétaire, Daniel, a été plus que compréhensif, nous le remercions encore.
Notre fille de son côté n'a pas regretté ses échanges sur les plantes avec la propriétaire Valérie, une dame passionnée par son environnement.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis dans ce gite rural de qualité exceptionnelle situé dans une ferme pratiquant le pastoralisme depuis plusieurs générations. La situation de ce gite au cœur du Pays Basque permet la découverte d'une magnifique région à l'authenticité rare.
