Lots of charm for this tastefully restored, detached former sheepfold, combining old-world charm with contemporary decor.
You're 1 km above the village, with panoramic mountain views.
Ground floor: fully-equipped kitchen (electric oven and microwave, 9-place dishwasher, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer), dining area, living room (TV and wood-burning stove), laundry room (washing machine), wc.
First floor: 2 bedrooms (1 bed 140, 2 beds 90), landing, shower room/wc.
Electric and wood heating available on request. Flat, partly fenced grounds, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue.
Beds made for your arrival. Towels available for hire.
Kakouetta and Holzarte gorges 30 km away. On the GR78 and St Jacques de Compostelle routes. Walks starting from the gîte.

    Je viens de prendre connaissance de votre avis, je suis très surprise par votre notation concernant le ménage car je reste toujours attentive à la propreté de mon gite.
    Il est regrettable de ne pas nous l'avoir signalé, s'il y avait un manquement de ma part je vous aurai apporté une action corrective immédiate.
    Concernant la température élevée dans les chambres : habituellement les températures au Pays Basque redescendent la nuit.
    Espérons que malgré le changement climatique , ces épisodes de fortes chaleurs restent exceptionnels.

    Lovely location

    Was welcomed by Dominique and his mum. The Gite is surrounded by countryside, perfect if you want to get away from the stresses of modern day life. Although in the information it stated that there is no Internet, I had it. The only downside are the flies which were a menace.

    LA SERENITE

    Gîte très agréable pour qui recherche la tranquillité.

    Très bien situé pour faire de nombreuses et belles randonnées , mais à proximité des villes touristiques

    Le propriétaire est accueillant et disponible , ses parents sympathiques et discrets
    nous font découvrir la vie de la région .

    Como en casa

    La acogida de Dominique fue muy cercana y simpatica.
    El sitio muy acogedor y comodo con acertada distribucion del mobiliario.
    Los alrededores dan para un par de meses y el paisaje incomparable, y cuidado a la manera tradicional
    Chapeau.
