Bittori and Pierre welcome you all year round to their 2 bed and breakfasts on the first floor of their 17th-century house of character.
MUTTILAINEA is the story of 5 generations of the Etcheverry family, who have lived and worked here with love.

Choose the colorful "SARE" or the romantic "ZUGARRAMURDI" room for a comfortable, restful night's sleep!

After a good night's sleep, there's nothing like a hearty breakfast to get the day off to a good start, in the peaceful setting of the family dining room or on the garden terrace.
On the menu, to accompany your hot drinks: Sare yoghurts, fruit salad and homemade jams, ewe's milk cheese, apple or orange juice, fresh toasted bread, croissants...

The fireplace in the communal lounge will warm you up on autumn and winter evenings...*.

The village of Sare, accessible on foot from the restored Roman road, is one of France's most beautiful villages.
Arrivals are from 6:00 pm.

    Un havre de paix

    Quelques jours passés avec mon fils dans un vrai hâvre de paix.
    Tout est parfait : la chambre décorée avec goût et d'une propreté irréprochable, le petit déjeuner complet sur la terrasse avec une vue magnifique, le calme du lieu, l'emplacement du gîte à bonne distance de tous les sites touristiques, les conseils de notre hôte... Sans hésitation, nous aurons plaisir à revenir à Muttilainea.

    Séjour à Sare

    Nous avons séjourné chez Mme Etcheverry Bittori à Sare du 9 au 15 juillet 2025 et nous en gardons un souvenir merveilleux. L’accueil de notre hôte a été particulièrement chaleureux et attentionné. La maison, une magnifique demeure basque, est pleine de charme et parfaitement entretenue. La chambre était confortable et très agréable, idéale pour un séjour reposant. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner, copieux et délicieux, qui mettait en valeur les produits de la région. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir le Pays Basque dans les meilleures conditions.
