Come and enjoy a pleasant interlude in an authentic Basque farmhouse, nestled at the foot of La Rhune, a stone's throw from Hiking trails and close to the Spanish border, the MANTTU BAITA house.

Enjoy 5 spacious, comfortable bed and breakfast rooms, each designed to combine charm, comfort and privacy.
AMATXI, IDUZKI and LARRUN: located on the first floor, these rooms with 1 x 160 cm bed, private bathroom and direct access to the terrace offer peace and light.
ITSASO: adaptable to your needs (2 beds 90 or 1 bed 180), this garden-level room also has its own private shower room and access to the terrace.
ALTURAN, a family room on the 2nd floor, is ideal for groups, with all the comforts of home and a private shower room.
In the morning, tantalize your taste buds with a gourmet breakfast, sweet and savoury, served according to the season on the private terrace or in the dining room: brioche and homemade bread, pastries made according to the mood and inspiration of the moment, homemade jams with fruit from the orchard, sheep's and goat's cheeses from local producers, Bayonne ham, homemade yoghurts, dried fruit, fruit juices...

Between walks on the many Hiking trails, escapades on the Basque Coast or moments of relaxation, everything has been thought of for your Wellbeing.
Enjoy a flower-filled garden, a sunny terrace and a complete Wellbeing area to share, including a heated indoor swimming lane (12x3 m) accessible from April 1 to November 1), a 5-seater Jacuzzi open all year round and 1 solarium.

    Great place to see the basque Country

    We came with our children and they loved the place and the people. Jean-philippe was very helpful recommending places to see around the region and where to park for free or cheap. Hoping to come back and do some hiking.

    Belle découverte au pays Basque

    Quelques jours passés en chambre d'hôtes au sein d'une ferme Basque : accueil chaleureux et convivial de notre hôte, chambre spacieuse et fonctionnelle, petit-déjeuners copieux et variés avec produits du terroir...réveil au son des cloches des vaches,piscine très agréable par temps caniculaire.

    Un lieu idéal pour découvrir le pays Basque.

    Un séjour de 4 nuits dans cette maison familiale confortable, reposante, idéalement située pour parcourir le pays basque et les innombrables sites et villages à visiter dans un rayon peu kilométré! Arrivé sous la canicule de juin en pleine fêtes de la Saint Jean à Saint Jean de Luz, dans des ruelles surchauffées, baignées de musique, avec une foule joyeuse et bon enfant, toutes générations confondues, vêtues de noir et rouge..! Quelle ambiance!!! Mais aussi quel bonheur d’intégrer le gite, si proche mais au calme en pleine nature, à proximité des sentiers pour gravir la Rhune et disposant d'une piscine intérieure, d'un jacuzzi, d'un grand parking à l’intérieur d'un ancien bâtiment d'exploitation. Le plaisir de se retrouver entre résidents, avec l'humour de Jean Philippe, le propriétaire et son soucis permanent de nous faire plaisir, de nous indiquer les sites à voir, de se transformer en GPS sur post-it...! La satisfaction de ses hôtes comme une obsession.
    Un grand merci pour tous ces conseils et pour avoir fait de ce séjour, malgré de telles chaleurs, un réel plaisir tant dans nos visites que dans les moments souvent joyeux, partagés à table.
