Charlotte and Franck welcome you with simplicity and conviviality to their beautifully renovated 18th-century house, full of charm and typical of Basque architecture.
You enter through the "eskaratz", where you'll find the breakfast room with its wood-burning stove and approval. A shared lounge is also available upstairs.
The 4 bedrooms have been awarded the Gîtes de France® label. They have been fitted out on the first floor and 1st floor, and feature spacious rooms.
Bedding in 160, individual beds in 80 or 120 for Kids, full private bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet), Wifi.
Depending on the season, Franck and Charlotte will serve you homemade products, local produce and vegetables from the garden at their table d'hôte 4 evenings a week (book at least 48 hours in advance directly with the owner).
Outside, the large garden with tables and deckchairs invites you to relax after a day of exploring.
Parking is available on site, as is a terminal for electric vehicles.
Charlotte and Franck will also be happy to accompany you on your discovery of the surrounding Hiking trails, and enjoy the magnificent view from the summit of the Hocha opposite the house.
The house is located 20km from Saint-Palais, 25km from Saint Jean-Pied-de-Port, between the coast and the mountains, in the heart of the verdant Basque Countryside, ideal for taking a break and recharging your batteries.

Balle-de-tennis Une semaine de vacances mémorable
Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances mémorable aux petits soins de Charlotte et Franck à Lukugaraia.
Le petit déjeuner et la table d’hôte sont excellents et variée et la vue du jardin est imprenable.
Nous sommes venus en voiture électrique et la recharge électrique nous a permis de rayonner à partir d’Iholdy et découvrir la Basse Navarre et la côte Basque.
Nous y reviendrons sûrement la prochaine fois que nous passerons au Pays-Basque et recommandons à tous ceux qui cherchent un accueil chaleureux dans un gîte propre et calme.- Cleanliness

Brigitte Charme et sérénité
Cette chambre d'hôtes propose un accueil personnalisé avec de très bons conseils de visites.
C'est un endroit plein de charme, idéal pour la sérénité dans une nature exceptionnelle au calme.
Les repas sont savoureux et conviviaux. On n'a pas eu envie de partir tellement on s'y sentait bien.

Nad&Phil Agréable sejour
Je recommande Lukugaraia, l'accueil est chaleureux, Franck cuisine très bien. Les chambres sont hyper grandes, c'est un véritable bonheur ! Et au cas où nous manquerions de place, un salon commun, réservé aux clients des différentes chambres !!!
Pour nous, le petit plus a été la borne de recharge pour la voiture.

Nous avons a-do-ré !!
Le gite (grande maison basque rénovée magnifiquement), le logement lui-même (grande chambre spacieuse, bien équipée et meublée simplement et avec goût), l'environnement (le jardin ombragé, le calme, la vue sur les environs - extraordinaire -) et surtout l'accueil irréprochable de Franck et Charlotte, leur aide et sollicitude de manière générale, leur connaissance des environs et leurs conseils de tous ordres (promenades et randonnées, activités, restauration...).
Le concept de voir la table d'hôte comme l'occasions de rencontre, avec les hôtes bien sûr, mais aussi les autres clients est tout à fait intéressant.- Cleanliness

DoroMalignac Séjour parfait !
Charlotte et Franck sont adorables.
Ils ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable malgré des circonstances un peu particulières pour nous. Nous nous sommes sentis, grâce à eux, comme chez nous.
La chambre que nous avons choisi à l'étage était très spacieuse, confortable et calme.
Le travail de rénovation sur la maison est impressionnant. Le jardin est très grand, agréable et joliment arboré.
Emplacement parfait pour rayonner.
Suggestion pour pousser encore plus loin la parfection et accompagner les délicieuses brioches maison de Franck au petit déjeuner : jus de pomme (ou autre) fermier/ local et céréales pour les "grand" (muesli ou autre).
