Located in the heart of the Ossau Valley, 4 km from Laruns, this functional apartment gives you the freedom to choose from the many sports activities available in the Pyrenees National Park (hiking, skiing, biking, fishing).

The Le Pene de Beon holiday cottage is a detached house ideal for a stay with family or friends.
Located in the heart of the small village of Aste-Béon, in the Ossau Valley, you’ll discover the pastoral life of the Béarn Pyrenees (sheep’s milk cheeses).
This village is known for its vulture observatory: the “cliff of the vultures,” right next to the holiday cottage.
You may spot griffon vultures, Egyptian vultures, bearded vultures, and other birds of prey—don’t forget your binoculars!
The house is unique, built on several levels, which gives it its charm and character.
A lovely surprise awaits you: the hidden garden at the back of the house, a pleasant, tree-lined space where you can relax or enjoy a meal outdoors on sunny days.
Numerous marked hiking trails start from the holiday cottage, with loop trails of varying difficulty levels to suit everyone.

Ground Floor:
- Fully equipped kitchen (gas stovetop, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer)

- Dining room / living room (TV, internet box)
- Restroom (washing machine)

First Floor:
- 1 sleeping area on a mezzanine above the kitchen (steep staircase) with a 90-cm bed, shower, and sink.
Another staircase leads from the living room to the rest of the bedrooms:
- 1 spacious bedroom opening onto a covered balcony with a nice view (1 Bed 160 x 200).
- Bathroom/toilet

Second Floor:
- 1 bedroom (1 Bed 140 x 190).
- 1 sleeping area adjoining this bedroom with 2 90 x 190 beds

Electric heating at an additional cost (based on meter reading). Firewood not provided for the stove (firewood is available for purchase at the Laruns supermarket, 4 km away).
Bed linen and towels are not provided. The agent in charge of check-in can rent them to you: 10 euros per person for a sheet and towel set—please specify this when you contact us before your stay.
Private enclosed backyard, patio furniture, and barbecue. Damage deposit of 550 euros, including a 150-euro cleaning deposit, which may be withheld upon checkout if the unit is not adequately cleaned before your departure.
Enclosed courtyard secured by a gate; entrance under video surveillance. Storage shed for your skis, boots, and other equipment.
1 private parking space in the courtyard. Numerous free parking spots all around the holiday cottage.
Close to the National Park and the Gourette and Artouste ski resorts (shuttle buses in winter).
