At the entrance to the Ossau Valley, near the city of Pau, a 25-hectare wooded and rural property facing the Pyrenees.
The Youan holiday cottage is a detached house located near the owners’ home, with no neighbors directly across the way.
Private, fenced-in Piscine (4m x 8m), open during warm weather depending on the forecast (June through September); unheated. Saltwater system.
Enclosed garden. Swing set, foosball table, ping-pong table, and pétanque court. Pleasant private covered terrace (nice view) with patio furniture and a gas grill.
Ground floor: Large air-conditioned living area:
- Living room (glass-fronted wood-burning stove), sitting area (TV, DVD player). Wifi Internet. Air-conditioned room.
- Fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, gas stovetop, electric oven, and microwave).
- Adjoining pantry (chest-style freezer, washing machine, dryer). Half-bath.
Upper floor: 3 bedrooms (1 160-bed, 4 90-beds).
1 office with 1 90-bed extra bed.
Bathroom (tub and shower + toilet).
Beds made on arrival. Enclosed property of 500 m². Surrounded by meadows and woods.
Electric heating available at an additional cost (air conditioning in the ground-floor dining room).
Firewood provided at an additional cost. GREEN UP charging station under a carport for electric cars.

Nous avons été accueillis par des propriétaires fort sympathiques d'une disponibilité et d'une discrétion notables.
Le gite est parfaitement équipé et très calme, la piscine vraiment appréciable par forte chaleur et la terrasse offre un beau panorama.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et nous reviendrons certainement pour découvrir d'autres endroits de cette belle région.

Les marcheurs Des vacances à la montagne
Deux semaines au Gîte Jouan nous ont permis de découvrir une région que nous ne connaissions pas : les Pyrénées. Les paysages sont magnifiques et surtout ceux decouverts lors de randonnées. Le gîte est fonctionnel et très bien équipé, les hôtes discrets mais disponibles ce qui est important dans ce type de location. Les plus à prendre en compte : la piscine très agréable après une journée de marche, la terrasse très bien située par rapport à l'ensoleillement, l'âne et les moutons, le calme, sans oublier les jeux mis à disposition (table de ping pong, baby-foot et terrain de pétanque)
