Welcome to HARRIETA, a guest house located in the interior of the Basque Country, in the heart of the province of Basse-Navarre.
Marie-Jo and Marc, in search of space and calm, have completely restored this magnificent 18th century farmhouse and its grounds, giving it new life, charm and comfort. They offer a warm welcome in 2 comfortable, personalized bedrooms.
You'll enjoy views over the rolling Countryside with the Pyrenees in the background, as well as the peace and quiet of the 1.5-hectare park, heated indoor pool, sauna and outdoor terraces.
Our gourmet breakfast includes homemade pastries and jams: nothing but the real thing, fresh and local! Start with eggs fresh from the henhouse, accompanied by tasty Serrano ham and sheep's milk cheese. On the sweet side, indulge your sweet tooth with salted butter crêpes, warm traditional Basque cake or moist garden fruit cake, fragrant Landes pastis and delicately candied citrus brioche. Add to this a colorful fresh fruit salad, crusty bread and melt-in-your-mouth viennoiseries.
Ideally placed, close to the St-Jacques-de-Compostelle pilgrimage route, 10 minutes from St-Palais or Bidache, near St-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Béarn, Spain and the Basque coast, you'll be able to take advantage of the many Hiking and excursions in the area...
During your stay, treat yourself to a special moment of relaxation. The Sauna (booking required) and a massage (by appointment only) will help you relax and recharge your batteries. Sauna session €25 for 2 people, including loan of towels, bathrobes and mineral water to keep you hydrated.
