Welcome to Goxoki (Basque for "sweetness"), in the interior of the Basque Country, on the outskirts of the village of Saint-Palais, in the province of Basse-Navarre. Ana and Mathieu have converted the first floor of their house to offer you a comfortable 25 m2 suite, with independent access.
It comprises: - a sleeping area with 1 comfortable 140cm bed, TV, fridge, office area (fiber connection), a convertible sofa for a child (bed size 90x175cm) on request; - a private bathroom with Italian shower, washbasin and toilet. Adjoining your bedroom is a living room where you'll be served a gourmet breakfast, sweet and savory according to your tastes, pastries, brioche, yogurt and homemade jam. Coffee maker and kettle available. Microwave coming soon. Table d'hôtes on request, using local and seasonal produce, and a wealth of documentation on the region's culinary heritage and culinary delights. The room has its own entrance, so you can feel at home and enjoy your privacy. It opens onto the garden, where free-range chickens roam, and offers a lovely view over the rolling Countryside and the beautiful sunsets. Ideally located, Goxoki is close to the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela, near St-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Béarn, Spain and the Basque coast.
You'll be able to take advantage of the many Hiking trails and excursions in the area... Just 5 minutes from St-Palais, easy access to all local stores and services: local produce stores, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, pharmacy and sports club...etc. Parking on the property (carport) + bicycle parking. Sign language available.
