In the heart of a one-hectare green setting, the La Clé de Champs ecogîte is housed in a traditional farmhouse typical of this region, close to the Madiran vineyards.
The renovation of this farmhouse was guided by a desire to minimize its ecological footprint and be consistent with the surrounding environment: - skilled craftsmanship, use of local or bio-sourced materials (lime rendering, regional tommette flooring), household appliances from recycled sources, green energy (electricity supplied by the regional Enercoop cooperative, efficient pellet stove heating), reinforced building insulation, plant-based sanitation, water and waste management, .... etc. Every detail has been studied to ensure that nature is respected here.

First floor: open-plan living area, heated by pellet stove, tiled floor: - Fully-equipped kitchen and dining area (induction hob, washing machine and dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and electric oven) - Lounge area (TV, Canal + and Netflix, WIFI Fiber internet box, Bluetooth-connected radio) - 1 bedroom (1 bed 140x190). Shower room/wc. 1st floor: 1 bedroom (1 bed 140x190). 1 baby bed. Shower room, wc. Landing with convertible sofa for 1 person. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in total, for travelling with friends in total privacy. Sheets and towels available for hire. Housekeeping included for a stress-free departure. HEATING INCLUDED: 1 bag of pellets/2 days + soft-heat electric radiators in bedrooms and bathrooms. Above-ground POOL (made of local Landes wood), unheated, salt-treated for summer use. Garden furniture, barbecue, parasols, deckchairs. Parking. 5000 m2 enclosed grounds (gate and fence) where your pet is welcome (1 per stay) and under your supervision (animals around). Designed for inclusion, the first floor can accommodate an accompanied person with reduced mobility (open-plan living area, 1 double bedroom and sanitary facilities) (not Tourism Handicap Moteur approved).
An LPO refuge, La Clé des Champs ecogîte is a signatory to a charter committing it to implementing wildlife preservation actions. The Holiday cottage features flowered and wooded areas and an orchard, tended by eco-grazing ewes who graze peacefully among the fruit trees and ornamental shrubs. The ecogîte is a member of the Conservatoire Régional des Races d'Aquitaine. The henhouse is home to the Gascon hen, an ancient breed that helps recycle food waste. An apiary located under a grove of trees, safe from any disturbance, allows you to observe the bees.
