In the heart of a one-hectare green setting, the La Clé de Champs ecogîte is housed in a traditional farmhouse typical of this region, close to the Madiran vineyards.
The renovation of this farmhouse was guided by a desire to minimize its ecological footprint, in keeping with the surrounding environment: - skilled craftsmanship, use of local or bio-sourced materials (lime rendering, regional tommette flooring), household appliances from recycled sources, green energy (electricity supplied by the regional Enercoop cooperative, efficient pellet stove heating), reinforced building insulation, plant-based sanitation, water and waste management, .Designed with inclusion in mind, the first floor is adapted for people with reduced mobility (PRM) (open-plan living area, double bedroom and bathroom).

On the first floor, you'll find the open-plan living area, heated by a pellet stove and tiled floor: - Fully-equipped kitchen and dining area (induction hob, washing machine and dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and electric oven) - Lounge area (TV, Canal + and Netflix, WIFI Fiber internet box, Bluetooth connectable radio) - 1 bedroom (1 bed 140x190). Shower room/wc. PMR access. 1st floor: - 3 bedrooms (1 bed 140x190, 2 x 2 adjustable beds 90x200). 1 baby bed - Landing with 1-person convertible sofa (100x190). Shower room, toilet. Baby equipment. Sheets and towels for hire. Optional cleaning on departure for a smoother start. HEATING INCLUDED: (supply of 1 bag of pellets/2 days and electric radiators for gentle heat in bedrooms and bathrooms). Above-ground swimming pool (made of local Landes wood), unheated, salt-treated for summer use. Garden furniture, barbecue, parasols, deckchairs. Parking. 5,000 m2 enclosed grounds (gates and fencing) where your pet is welcome (1 per stay) and under your supervision (animals around). La Clé des Champs is an LPO refuge and has signed a charter committing it to actions to preserve wildlife.
The Holiday cottage is home to flowered and wooded areas, an orchard, and is maintained by ecopasture with ewes grazing peacefully among the fruit trees and ornamental shrubs, and is a member of the Conservatoire Régional des Races d'Aquitaine. The henhouse is home to the Gascon hen, an ancient breed that helps to recycle food waste. An apiary located under a grove of trees, safe from any disturbance, allows you to observe the bees.
