This 12th-century Ossaloise building is a former fortified house. Slates, stonework and beams have been restored to bring out all the charm of the house.
Once a sheepfold, the basement of the house is now home to the owner's horses (for rides and Hiking in the Mountain).
Kids of the region, Sarah and her daughter Margot will help you discover the beauty of the Ossau valley, so dear to her heart.
It's a family affair here, as her brother Pierre, a local craftsman, made the bespoke furniture and the magnificent staircase that leads up to the house.
First floor:
- The cosy living room with its pellet stove, convivial solid wood table and well-equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave, induction hob).
