Detached house in the heart of the Basque mountains, in an exceptional location overlooking the Kakuetta gorges, close to the GR10 and Hiking trails. The Holiday cottage is on 2 levels.
Ground floor: - kitchenette (microwave, fridge-freezer, ceramic hob, pyrolysis oven, washing machine and dishwasher) with living room and sitting area (fireplace, TV) - bedroom with 1 x 140cm bed - wc First floor: - bedroom with 1 x 140cm bed - bedroom with 2 x 90cm beds - bathroom - wc Baby equipment (bed, chair) available on request.
Sheets and towels for hire. Electric heating and wood heating available on request. Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Enclosed grounds, swing. Owners' farm 800 m away (sale of ewe's milk and cheese).

Une trop petite semaine dans ce gîte magnifique et fonctionnel ou nous avons été acceuillis chaleureusement, nous a permis de recharger nos batteries. Dès l'ouverture des volets on est face à cette vallée majestueuse et calme. Le petit déjeuner en terrasse ou on devine les vaches sur l'autre versant puis les clochettes des brebis qui nous promettent un fromage d'exception, commence la journée du bon pied. Les gorges les plus majestueuses sont toujours en cours de sécurisation mais il reste de quoi s'émerveiller au fil des ballades. En fin de journée, de retour en terrasse, les milans passent prendre les courants ascendants, un spectacle gratuit qui nous place au coeur de la nature.
