Detached house in the heart of the Basque mountains, in an exceptional location overlooking the Kakuetta gorges, close to the GR10 and Hiking trails. The Holiday cottage is on 2 levels.
Ground floor: - kitchenette (microwave, fridge-freezer, ceramic hob, pyrolysis oven, washing machine and dishwasher) with living room and sitting area (fireplace, TV) - bedroom with 1 x 140cm bed - wc First floor: - bedroom with 1 x 140cm bed - bedroom with 2 x 90cm beds - bathroom - wc Baby equipment (bed, chair) available on request.
Sheets and towels for hire. Electric heating and wood heating available on request. Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Enclosed grounds, swing. Owners' farm 800 m away (sale of ewe's milk and cheese).

Biroula La montagne ça nous gagne
Le calme a la montagne avec la gentillesse et la générosité des propriétaires. Je recommande vivement. La station de ski Pierre st Martin a 20 klm est très bien autant pour le ski alpin que nordique

Gîte très confortable, au calme avec vue sur la montagne. Commerces facilement accessibles en voiture. Le tout dans une très belle région. On a pu profiter pleinement tout en se reposant au calme. A refaire !

lara Montagne+calme + soleil = rechargement de batterie
Super semaine (particulièrement ensoleillée) au coeur de la montagne, loin de l'agitation du monde.
Gite bien équipé, terrasse au soleil, feu de cheminée, champs autour pour se ressourcer.
Maryse est très accueillante et à l'écoute des besoins.
Balades à proximité pour marcheureuses averti·es (GR10 à fort dénivelé).
Ferme avec fromage (Ossau Iraty) délicieux accessible à pied.
En revanche aucun commerce à proximité, le plus proche étant à une quinzaine de minutes. Il faut donc anticiper.
À moins d'une demi-heure de la Pierre Saint Martin, station de ski à taille humaine avec diverses activités pour tous les âges.
Curiosité locale incontournable : la grotte de la Verna.- Cleanliness
