At the foot of the Rhune, in the historic village of Sare, stay in a spacious and comfortable holiday cottage housed in a Basque-style home that includes an adjoining semi-detached house reserved for the owner (rarely occupied).
Spanning two levels, the ANIOTZ-BEHEREA holiday cottage consists of:
On the ground floor:
- a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge-freezer, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, gas stove)
- a large living room with a sitting area
- a bathroom with shower and toilet
- a pantry
Upstairs:
- 2 bedrooms, each with one 140-cm bed
- 1 bedroom with two 90-cm beds
- a bathroom with shower
- 2 toilets
The beds are made on arrival. Oil-fired central heating is included.
Outside, you’ll enjoy several private areas: a terrace and a garden with outdoor furniture and a plancha grill at the back of the house, and a balcony overlooking the village of Sare.
Parking is available in the courtyard.
The village of Sare is 800m away. There you’ll find shops, restaurants, and entertainment during the summer season.
The ANIOTZ-BEHEREA holiday cottage is located 14km from the beaches of St. Jean-de-Luz.

    Gîte à Sare

    Les matelas des lits jumeaux sont trop mous et beaucoup de meubles, de bibelots et de photos qui donnent l’impression d’être en chambre d’hôtes.
    Mais le gîte est agréable, au calme et avec une vue magnifique. Sa position centrale nous a permis de visiter Espelette, Saint Jean de Luz, Biarritz et Bayonne. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques.

    Un petit Paradis

    Le lieu est idyllique : chaque lever du soleil nous a régalés, comme une nouvelle carte postale chaque jour.
    Tout en étant près du village, on est sur les hauteurs et très au calme.
    La maison est spacieuse, chaleureuse, avec des meubles typiques, qui changent des décos impersonnelles qu'on peut trouver un peu partout.
    Les propriétaires sont adorables, ils ont un vrai sens de l'accueil (et leurs confitures sont délicieuses).
    Bref, une adresse à recommander mille fois :)
