Amalurra is located in a tree-lined neighborhood of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, on a quiet cul-de-sac just a 5-minute drive from downtown. Mirentxu welcomes you to her suite, which is located in a separate part of her home: 30 m² all to yourself.

Welcome to AMALURRA!
In a quiet, tree-lined residential neighborhood in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, located 2 km from the nearest Beach, you’ll be welcomed by Mirentxu, Peio, and their two kids.
The family has prepared a 30-square-meter inverted duplex suite for you, separate from the main house. Private parking is available.
On the garden level: a bedroom with a 160-cm bed (TV), a bathroom (walk-in shower), and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, there’s a private living area with open access and a dining nook where breakfast will be served and where you’ll have access to kitchen amenities (sink, dishes, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, and coffee maker) and a relaxation area with two armchairs.
Mirentxu will prepare hearty and delicious sweet breakfasts for you, all homemade using exclusively local and organic products.
Wi-Fi is available in the living room.
Across from your private terrace, you’ll have access to the heated family Piscine (3.5 x 5.5 m, depth 1.40 m, salt-treated, open from June to September, weather permitting).
Access to this part of the house is private, so you can come and go as you please.
Since Mirentxu is from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Peio is from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, they’ll help you explore the entire Basque Country, in both Euskara (the Basque language) and French.
From June to September, stays are for a minimum of 4 nights; the rest of the year, a minimum of 2 nights.
Several bus lines serving our neighborhood will allow you to reach downtown Saint-Jean-de-Luz and explore the Basque coast from Bayonne to San Sebastián via public transport.
From Saint-Jean-de-Luz, a very centrally located city, you can easily explore Bayonne and Biarritz to the north, the inland Basque Country via the Nivelle Basin, Espelette, Sare, Ainhoa, and the entire coastline (Guéthary, Bidart, Hendaye) toward the southern Basque provinces (notably San Sebastián).
La Rhune and its famous little rack-and-pinion train, the Jaizkibel, the Ibardin Pass, and so many other hiking trails near Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
Finally, just an hour’s drive away, you can explore Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and the Baigorri Valley.
