Le Mas d'Agenais is one of the oldest villages in the Lot-et-Garonne region, making it an ideal stopover or holiday destination on the Voie Verte along the Canal Latéral à la Garonne between Bordeaux and Toulouse. Occupied since Gallo-Roman times, the site boasts over 2,000 years of history (the Venus du Mas d'Agenais, the collegiate church of Saint-Vincent with its Rembrandt, its corn market and flourishing market). Numerous walks all around on the plain or in the forest. Nautical stopover on the canal at the foot of the village. Close to Casteljaloux with its spa, Olympic-size swimming pool, swimming lake (Lac de Clarens on a 20-hectare wooded site), golf course and casino. On one level, the Le Pinson gîte (45m²), with its private covered terrace and private parking, includes a living room with kitchenette, 2-seater sofa bed, 3 bedrooms (2x140, 2x80 bunk beds), shower room and separate toilet. Reversible air conditioning and wifi in each gîte. Communal facilities: pétanque court, ping pong table, playground, outdoor clothesline and laundry facilities.restaurant, grocery store with bread depot, butcher's and delicatessen.
