Le Patio

The first French commune to be awarded the Territoire Bio engagé label (45% of its agricultural area is farmed organically), Bazens is a typical Renaissance village with a listed château. Situated in the Pays de Serres (a mountainous region with a multitude of landscapes), it nestles at low altitude in the heart of the Lot et Garonne department, famous for its plum, peach and apple orchards, its gastronomy, its surprisingly well-marked short Hiking trails and its 300 km of waterways, its greenway along the canal (on foot, by bike or on horseback), its confluence of the Lot and Garonne rivers populated by cormorants, its bird sanctuary, and also its rich rural heritage with its Bastides and ancient villages of Guyenne, Gascogne and other places! Le Patio is an old stable restored in the authentic spirit of character buildings, adjoining the owner's house. Measuring 90 m² with a 60 m² enclosed patio (garden furniture and barbecue), it comprises on the ground floor a large living room with a sitting area separated from the dining area by the old half-timbering of the cows' cribs, an open-plan kitchen, a storeroom and a separate toilet. First floor: two bedrooms + a study (1x160 1x140 - 1x90), 2nd toilet, shower room (shower, bidet, washbasin). Piscine (11x5m depth: 2.4m) with shared chlorine, open from May 10 to October 10, weather permitting. Large unenclosed park of one hectare, shared parking. Bed linen, towels and table linen, housekeeping and wifi internet access included. During the cold season: Electric heating on meter reading.
