Between Bordeaux and Toulouse, near Agen (19km), stretching across a landscape of plains and valleys, at the foot of the bastide town of Puymirol, the totally independent and isolated Grand Moulin de Gandille will seduce you with its tranquility and the beauty of its architecture. The Holiday cottage is divided into two houses: a typical Pays de Serres manor house, with fully-equipped kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms (1x160x200, 1x90x200 - 2x90x200 convertible into180x200) with shared bathroom (bath and shower) and wc. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms (2x90x200 convertible to 180x200 in each), and shower room with wc. Opposite the house, the old mill, with living room (wood-burning stove - supplied), fitted kitchen and unwc. Upstairs, 3 further bedrooms (2x90x200 convertible to 180x200 in each), one with en-suite shower room. En-suite bathroom. Bed linen and towels included, beds made. Piscine towels for hire (€4). Private, secure (alarm) Piscine open from April to September (weather permitting), pétanque court. View from the Holiday cottage of the old Gandille flour mill, where the water no longer flows, once fed by the Séoune, a small river ideal for fishing enthusiasts. 2.5km from the village of Tayrac, a multi-service shop (bread, newspapers, gasoline, etc.) and fruit and vegetable grower. Discover the Vineyards of Cahors, Coteaux du Quercy and Brulhois. Numerous Hiking trails, Canal du Midi with its Voie Verte cycle path. Bordering the Gers and Tarn-et-Garonne departments, discover Moissac, Lauzerte... Golf courses at Bon-Encontre and Boé (Château d'Allot), Happy Forest adventure park and Walygator/Aqualand park near Agen. Farmers' markets in summer. Sound and light show in Valence d'Agen in early August. 5 bicycles available. Tourist tax payable. Pets allowed subject to conditions (additional €200 deposit).
