In the heart of the South-West, between Bordeaux and Toulouse, near Agen, come and recharge your batteries in the pretty village of Saint-Maurin, classified as a "Village de caractère". Set in a verdant valley on the banks of a stream, the village has remained unspoilt, retaining all the charm of bygone days. The imposing ruins of its abbey (a Cluniac site) stand in the center of the village. The village is built around a central square topped by a 17th-century market hall. Stroll through the narrow streets and discover half-timbered houses, the old well and the abbey castle with its machicolated tower. On the ground floor of one of Saint-Maurin's oldest houses (15th c.), in the heart of the village, the Loft en Bulles gîte awaits you for a stopover or a stay ideal for a couple. All on one level, it will surprise you with its world of well-being: a top-of-the-range spa awaits you to relax and unwind. The studio (60m²) offers all modern comforts: fully-equipped kitchen, living room, double bed (1x180), 6-seater spa, large travertine shower and separate toilet (basin, wc). Reversible air conditioning. Very bright thanks to its two French windows opening onto two streets (blackout film on the windows ensures privacy), you'll appreciate the coolness of the travertine floor in summer, and its warmth in winter.
