Le Gîte de Fompesquière

In the heart of the South-West, between Bordeaux and Toulouse, close to Périgord and Quercy, Fompesquière stretches over 31 hectares of woods and meadows: three springs feed a stream and two ponds that are ideal for swimming (the houses benefit from the spring water). Set against the backdrop of the Frespech limestone plateau, one of the first plateaux in the Quercy region, the Fompesquière valley has a sharp, contrasting tone, combining intimacy and openness. Tranquillity and a gentle lifestyle are the perfect combination for this ancient hamlet in the heart of the Pays de Serres. Set away from the owners' house, and totally independent, the gîte is ideal for large families or a group of friends. Entirely renovated to eco-environmental standards (lime, hemp, poplar), the gîte features a living room with fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge, a PMR bedroom (2x90 convertible to 180) with PMR shower/wc (private terrace), 3 bedrooms (1x160, 4x90 convertible to 180), one of which has a mezzanine (2x90 extra bed), a shared shower room, and a shared wc. Terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and Gllum is cool dining table. In an annex, a 5th bedroom (1x180 - 1 extra bed for a child) with private shower room and toilet. Bed linen and towels included, beds made. Private saltwater swimming pool open from May to October, weather permitting (pool heating package: €30/day). Free Wifi.
