In the heart of the Pays d'Albret, homeland of Henri IV, the Tour de Brazalem is nestled in the center of Nérac's medieval old town, a stone's throw from the Baïse river, the Pont Vieux, the Chateau Henri IV and the Garenne park.Set against the main building of a former 16th-century town house, the Tour de Brazalem houses an exceptionally charming guest room, a kind of belfry overlooking old Nérac and the Baïse river. From the secluded patio and stone staircase leading to the former dwelling (small studio), you'll discover the charming old-fashioned room, spread over two levels: first the shower room with its resolutely modern toilet, then, via a wooden staircase, the bedroom under its roof structure (140cm bed). Restored under the supervision of Bâtiments de France, the Tower, once a defensive structure, also retains traces of the dovecote it once was, giving the room added charm. Enjoy the serenity of the setting, both up in the tower and down in the patio, where an awning hidden by ivy invites you to recharge your batteries. Isabelle also welcomes you to her even older home (formerly a 13th-century shop and 19th-century bourgeois house). The main house has 4 double bedrooms, including one on the ground floor (2 x 140cm beds, 2 x 90cm beds) with en-suite shower rooms. From the secluded patio and stone staircase to the guest room at the top of the tower, the studio is ideal for a couple or two friends, for one night or more.
