In the heart of the Lot Valley, known as French Tuscany, you'll fall under the spell of this 170m² house, combining traditional stonework, ecological materials (lime plaster, wood wool, cotton, hemp, linen, etc.) and modern interiors. This independent old farmhouse, close to the owners, offers you: an entrance hall with a long corridor leading to the living room with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area relaxing in front of the fireplace with access to the outside terrace. A separate living room with sofas, armchairs, TV, a shower room with large Italian shower, separate toilet. Upstairs, 3 bedrooms (3 x 160cm beds) each with private shower room and WC. On the landing, a large open-plan area is ideal for Kids (benches, beds, games). In fine weather, you can enjoy your meals on the 22m2 terrace with table and chairs. The 1.3-hectare unenclosed flower garden is ideal for relaxing on deckchairs by the Piscine shared with the owners (9x4m, 1.50m deep), open from May to September, weather permitting. Nearby Maison de la Noisette, Musée du Pruneau...., numerous markets, Hiking.....Parking for vehicles and luggage. Optical FIBRE internet connection, very good 4G mobile network coverage. Bed linen, towels and housekeeping included. Holiday cottage sleeps 4 (ref 4531). Heating surcharge according to consumption (meter reading). Firewood on request from owner. Tourist tax to be paid at the booking office.

Pumpkin Peaceful rural location with beautiful views
Marvellous converted farmhouse in isolated rural setting. Kitchen well equipped. Owners on-site, they responded promptly to questions. Points to be aware of:-
* swimming pool small for a large group
* electricity charge based on consumption (no idea what daily allowance of 8Kwh equates to in terms of no of showers/ kettles boiled etc.so balance at end of stay can be a surprise)
* no choice of bedroom as beds made up according to number of people on booking form; we were one couple - one bed made up -it was assumed we shared the same bed.
* only one set of sheets and towels provided for 12 nights
* no iron - need to borrow from owners- Cleanliness

We are delighted to have been able to welcome you and will take your comments into account in order to improve our services. However, with regard to the swimming pool, the description and photos on the website clearly state its capacity and design, namely 9x4m in size and 1.50m deep. As for the beds, you had informed us that your gran daughter would be coming, and we provided an extra bed so that she could spend the night at the cottage. However, you did not inform us that you wanted to sleep in separate beds.Serge & Bernadette
