L'étable des amis

We've transported you to the borders of the Gers and Lot-et-Garonne departments, 3 km from Gabarret, in the small village of Escalans. This is the image of the Pays Gabardan, north of the Gabarret/Agen axis.
For cycling and walking enthusiasts, Gabarret is the starting point for the Marsan and Armagnac greenway, which leads to Mont de Marsan and the gateway to the Scandiberique. Escalans is home to the medieval château de Caumale, with its five imposing towers. For those who enjoy the Unusual, we recommend a visit to the "ganaderia de Buros en remorque", just a few yards away.

In Escalans, in the heart of the Forest, stop off at "L'Etable des amis", a guest house where conviviality is the watchword. Come and relax for one or more nights, whatever the season, in our 3 upstairs bed and breakfast rooms, with independent access via an outside staircase.
For the Etable des Amis, Landes pine was naturally chosen as the material of choice, both for the construction itself and for the furnishings.
Double-glazing and reversible air-conditioning ensure maximum comfort in both summer and winter.

During the summer months, a Piscine (6mx4m, 1.40m deep, secured by roller shutter and trellis) is at your disposal. The rest of the year, you can relax by the fireplace in the communal lounge, while Kids have their own gaming room and library.

Each bedroom has a king-size bed (160x200 cm), a study area and a private bathroom with toilet. The rooms are very bright, thanks to their balcony-terrace, from which you can admire the surrounding countryside. Here we've played on a decoration linked to the "cowshed".

Breakfast is served in the living room or on the terrace, depending on the season.
