Les Rives de l'Escamat is one of the oldest houses in the village. Here you'll be staying in the Parc Naturel des Landes de Gascogne in Sabres, 40 km from the Beach, in a forest setting. This cosy place is ideal for a couple or a family stay. Here, you'll hear the "tchoutchou" of the little train at Marquèze, a must-see if you want to immerse yourself in our heritage; or take a canoe trip down the valleys of the Leyre, or come and watch the cranes overwinter when the season is right.

The house dates back to 1853, and after months of refurbishment, this former presbytery has been transformed into a comfortable, contemporary guest house, which has been given a new lease of life thanks to its spaciousness, arched windows and contemporary decor. All this, combined with the shared swimming pool, will enhance your stay here.

The house offers :
three double bedrooms upstairs (3 beds 160x200, 1 light-wood Cabin bed 90 for Kids up to 8 years) each with full en-suite facilities, including one with an outdoor balcony overlooking the garden and Piscine.
Extra bed 90x190 available in each room.

You'll appreciate the personalization of all three bedrooms, just like the hallway, which invites you to take a trip: the wallpaper with its distinctive pattern, approved by old suitcases, lends it a warm soul.

The Piscine can be used from June to September, weather permitting, and is shared with the owners and tenants of the two nearby Holiday cottages, as are the boulodrome and table soccer.

You can take the small bridge at the bottom of the garden to reach the village and its amenities.
You can also use the adult bikes to explore the surrounding area. (2 Mountain bikes and 6 Dutch bikes to share with other guests).

An electric charging station is available in the village 300m away.
