Les Rives de l'escamat

Les Rives de l'Escamat, is a place classified among the oldest houses in the village. Here you will stay in the Landes de Gascogne Natural Park in Sabers, 40 km from the beaches, in a forest setting. This warm place is ideal for a stay for two or with the family. Here, you will hear the "tchoutchou" of the little Marquèze train, an essential visit to immerse yourself in our heritage; another occupation, the valleys of the Leyre for a descent in a canoe or come and contemplate the wintering of the cranes, in the right season.

The house dates from 1853 and after months of work this former presbytery has been transformed into a guest house, contemporary and comfortable, which imposes its renewal thanks to beautiful volumes, arched openings, a current decoration; all this combined with the shared pool service to enhance your visit to this place.

The house offers:
two double bedrooms upstairs (2 160x200 beds, 1 light wooden cabin bed in 90 for children up to 8 years old) each with complete private bathrooms, including one with an outdoor balcony overlooking the garden and swimming pool.
Possibility of an extra bed 90x190 in each room.

You will appreciate the personalization of the two bedrooms, just like the hallway which invites you to travel: the wallpaper with a marked pattern decorated with old suitcases gives it a warm soul.

The swimming pool service, which can be used from June to September depending on the weather, is to be shared with the owners and tenants of the two nearby gites, as is the bowling alley and table football.

You can take the small bridge at the bottom of the garden to reach the village and its amenities. And you can also borrow the 2 adult bikes to ride around.
