Meet up at the Sabres train station, and climb aboard the steam locomotive of the Ecomusée de Marquèze, which will take you back 150 years in time, to discover a whole vanished civilization on a 25-hectare airial. Join Commensacq and the Base de loisirs de Mexico, for a canoe trip down the Leyre, an adventure course, mountain biking... or opt for Swimming at Arjuzanx, a nature reserve offering a variety of canoeing, sailing, stand-up paddle and pedal-boat activities, or follow the discovery and hiking trails.

The village of Luxey is home to one of the Forest's most emblematic works of contemporary art, Hello Apollo, and is also famous for its Musicalarue festival, which combines street art and music right in the heart of the forest.
